Croatia is full of beavers because they have no natural enemies. There are them in every stream, river, canal, pond, lake … Beavers are extremely active and constantly cut down trees and build their underground hiding lodges, but also dams from branches, leaves and mud. They are not afraid of people, and they are most active at dusk and at night.
